TempMail.ID.VN Terms of Service

Your continued access to or use of TempMail.ID.VN signifies that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Overview

TempMail.ID.VN is a platform that provides temporary/disposable email addresses to help users safeguard their privacy when registering, activating, or receiving information from websites, applications, and forums.

  • Free Plan: Instantly generate a random email address with a short lifespan; receive-only.
  • Premium Plan: Customize the domain/username part, extend email retention time, advanced filtering support, restricted to personal use only.

2. Definitions

Term Meaning
Service The entire website, API, mobile applications, domains, and infrastructure of TempMail.ID.VN.
User Any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
Temporary Email A receive-only mailbox with an auto-destruct timer and no registration required.
Premium Email An upgraded temporary mailbox available to Users who pay for a Premium plan.
Public Sharing Posting, selling, renting, or openly disclosing a Premium Email address (or Premium access credentials) on forums, social media, public APIs, etc.

3. Conditions of Use

  1. Age Requirement – You must be 18 years or older, or have written legal consent from a guardian.
  2. Legal Use Only – Strictly prohibited:
    • Sending spam, phishing, or malware.
    • Bulk sign-ups, automated scraping, denial-of-service (DoS) attacks.
    • Activities that violate Vietnamese law, your local law, or international law.
  3. Access Restrictions – We reserve the right to block, limit, or terminate access, delete emails, or ban IPs without prior notice upon detecting violations.

4. Privacy & Storage Policy

Item Our Policy
Email retention time 60 minutes by default (Free), up to 30 days (Premium, configurable).
Access logs Store IP address, timestamp, and actions for abuse prevention; auto-delete after 30 days.
Sensitive content Storing legal, financial, or medical documents is discouraged.
Third-party data sharing No sharing, selling, or renting of emails or logs, except under a valid legal order.

5. Premium Plan Specific Terms

  1. Benefits:

    • Choose a custom domain from the available list.
    • Extend email lifespan.
    • Private API access with reasonable request limits.

  2. Strict Restrictions:

    • No Public Sharing – A Premium account is licensed to one individual/organization; actions such as:
      • publicly posting a Premium address,
      • reselling or renting it, or
      • granting mailbox access to outsiders
        → are all prohibited. Violations will result in immediate service suspension, no refund, and may trigger DMCA or legal notifications.
    • No bulk forwarding – Premium may not be used as a bulk forwarder, spam relay, or to build another public email service.

  3. Payment & Refunds:

    • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cycle.
    • No refunds for Terms violations or mid-cycle cancellation requests.

  4. Technical Limits:

    • Daily email limits and API bandwidth caps may be enforced to maintain service quality.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Availability – The Service is provided “as-is”; downtime may occur for maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen incidents.
  • Consequential Damages – We are not liable for data loss, profit loss, or indirect damages arising from use or inability to use the Service.
  • Absolute Security – While SSL/TLS and technical safeguards are employed, no system is 100 % secure. Using the Service implies acceptance of this risk.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content, logos, source code, and UI/UX designs are the property of TempMail.ID.VN or are properly licensed.
  • Users may not copy, modify, or redistribute without prior written consent.

8. Termination & Suspension

  • We may terminate or temporarily suspend an account if you:
    1. Violate the Terms of Service or abuse policies.
    2. Engage in payment fraud or chargebacks.
  • Email data is irretrievably deleted once the account is terminated.

9. Amendments

  • TempMail.ID.VN reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The update date will be shown at the top of the document.
  • Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by Vietnamese law.
  • Any disputes shall first be resolved by good-faith negotiation; failing that, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the People’s Court of Ho Chi Minh City.
